PRESS RELEASE: Warsaw Police Make Multiple Felony Arrests

October 31, 2014

Yesterday, Thursday, October 30, 2014, an active felony warrant and two (2) separate meth labs kept Warsaw Police officers busy.
Around 11:00 a.m., Warsaw Police detectives and narcotics officers served a felony arrest warrant at 221 N. Columbia Street in Warsaw on Tyler Clements for theft of a handgun. While serving the warrant, police found evidence of Clements dealing in heroin and marijuana. Additional felony charges for dealing will be forwarded to the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s office this morning. Also during the arrest, police found and confiscated a shotgun. Tyler J. Clements, 20 years old, of Warsaw, is being held at the Kosciusko County Jail with no bond.
Around 2:00 p.m., narcotics officers responded to 4936 W. Lakeview Park Drive near Palestine, south west of Warsaw, after undercover purchases and a tip that there was an active meth lab. Officers found three (3) subjects at the residence in the process of manufacturing meth and found an active one-pot meth lab. Police arrested 41 year old Brian K. Jackson, and his sister, D Ann Jackson, 34 years of age, both of Warsaw, for manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of meth, and possession of precursors to the manufacture of meth. All charges are felony’s and both are being held without bond. Police also arrested 22 year old, Krystal E. Quisenberry, of Warsaw on misdemeanor charges of visiting a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia.
Then around 4:30 p.m., Warsaw Police received a tip that there was an active meth lab at 235 Eisenhower Parkway on the south side of Warsaw. Warsaw detectives and patrol officers responded and obtained consent where police located four (4) active meth labs. Roy Skeens, 30 years old, of Warsaw, was taken into custody and charged with felony manufacturing meth, and possession of chemical reagents/precursors to the manufacture of meth. He was also charged with a misdemeanor offense of false informing for providing a false name and info to investigators. Skeens also had two (2) active felony warrants for probation violations. Police also charged 28 year old, Amanda L. Smith, of Warsaw, with felony manufacturing meth, and possession of chemical reagents/precursors to the manufacture of meth. Smith was also charged with misdemeanor false informing for providing false information. Skeens and Smith are both being held at the Kosciusko County Jail with no bonds.
Clandestine lab teams responded to both the Lakeview Park Drive and Eisenhower Parkway locations to take possession of the active labs and remove the dangerous chemicals involved. Child protective services was also notified because children are usually present at the Lakeview Park Drive and the Eisenhower Parkway locations, but none were present at the time. Warsaw Police narcotics officers, detectives, and patrol officers were assisted by the Indiana State Police, Winona Lake Police, Mentone Police, and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
