The City of Bellflower will host a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and E-Waste collection event on Saturday, November 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Simms Park located at 16614 S. Clark Ave. HHW is any product labeled: toxic, poison, combustible, corrosive, flammable or irritant that is disposed of. The term "e-waste" is applied to consumer electronic equipment that is no longer wanted. E-waste refers to computers, printers, televisions, VCRs, cell phones, fax machines, stereos, and electronic games. Electronics may contain lead, copper, and other heavy metals or potentially toxic substances.
