10/16/14- 9000 Block of Wildwood Lake Dr- Larceny- The victim ex-girlfriend sold his collectable sports cards on EBay without his knowledge. The victim is currently deciding if he wants prosecution.
10/18/14- 6000 Block of Spencer Rd- Larceny- The victim had scrap metal stolen from his property. A suspect was identified by the investigating Officer and a warrant request has been sent to the Washtenaw County Prosecutors Office.
10/21/14- 9000 Block of Lakewood Dr- Larceny from Auto- The victim reports waking up to find that her vehicle had been entered during the night and $60 was stolen from her wallet that was located in the center counsel. No suspects and it is unknown if the vehicle was locked or unlocked.
10/21/14- 5000 Block of Pontiac Trail- Larceny- The victim reports three trail cameras stolen from her property. The suspect was viewed on one of the cameras remote recordings. The case is being investigated by the Northfield Township Investigator.
10/26/14- 100 Block of North Point Dr- Larceny from Auto- The victim reports his vehicle being entered and his golf clubs stolen with various other golf items. There are no suspects in the case.
10/28/14- 9000 Block of Main St- MDOP- The victim reports that multiple political signs have been damaged at the lot on the corner of 6 Mile and Main St. There are no suspects and the case is being investigated by the responding Officer.
10/31/14- 100 Block of North Point Dr- Larceny from Auto-The victim reports that his wife’s vehicle had been entered and items were stolen including a $2000 diamond ring. There are currently no suspects and the case is being investigated.
The Northfield Township Police would like to remind all citizens to lock your vehicles while parked. It is also advisable to remove any valuables from the vehicle including loose change. In most Larceny from Autos, the thieves are looking for small valuables like, money, phones, iPods, laptops or any other small items. To protect yourself from becoming a victim, please secure those items inside your home. Please report any suspicious activity immediately so that the officers can respond and determine what the circumstances are.
