Thank you to the community who once again helped to identify a person of interest. The individual pictured in a NIXLE post pertaining to a shoplifting incident at Vape Air located at 143 NE Broad Street has been identified.
On Wednesday November 5, 2014, a shoplifting occurred at Vape Air located at 143 NE Broad Street. The Southern Pines Police Department is requesting the assistance of the community in identifying the person of interest depicted in the attached photographs. The male in the attached photograph(s) left the business, along with a young African American male approximately 16 years of age who had a high and wide “afro” style haircut. Both of these males left the area in a silver Buick. Anyone with information about the identity of this male is asked to contact the Southern Pines Police Department at 910-692-7031 or the Southern Pines Police Department’s Crime Tip line at 910-693-4110. Persons providing information are not required to identify themselves when calling. Anonymous information is welcome and has solved many previous cases.
