The Cannelton Police Department is releasing information about a recent crime/crime activity near your address.
Resisting Law Enforcement and Possession of Marijuana
On November 10, 2014 at approximately 5:47 PM a Cannelton Police officer attempted to stop a male subject on a bicycle at the intersection of South 6th Street and Taylor Street. The male subject refused to stop leading the officer on a course around Golden Years Apartments, across Washington Street, and through the city park at 5th Street and Washington Street. Officers were unable to establish a perimeter and male subject was able to avoid arrest. Officers did locate the male subject's bicycle, coat, and backpack.
