Over the past several days, officers from Anne Arundel County Police and the Crofton Police have responded to several daytime burglaries in the Crofton area. These burglaries have been occurring between the hours of 9 am to 2 pm.

In each of these incidents, the suspect(s) have gained entry into the homes by forcing or prying open a rear door. Once inside, the suspect(s) appear to be targeting jewelry ,small electronics such as iPads/iPods, gaming systems such as Xbox's and Playstations and firearms.

The burglaries have occurred at the following locations:

1600 block of Carlyle Drive
1500 block of Farlow Avenue
2900 block of Greenwich Court

Residents are encouraged to make a copy of all serial numbers for any items of value. This information will be very beneficial to the police if items are stolen from the home.
