Announces Arrests for:
Breaking and Entering and Larceny
The Southern Pines Police Department announces the arrests of Bryan Thomas Caddell, 24 years of age, of West End, North Carolina and Thomas William Ovbey, 25 years of age, of Aberdeen, North Carolina on the above listed charges. This arrest is the result of a Breaking and Entering investigation conducted by the Southern Pines Police Department. On November 5, 2014, the Southern Pines Police Department responded to Knollwood Fairways located at 1470 Midland Road Southern Pines, North Carolina following alarm activation. Responding officers found that glass on a rear door had been broken and the building had been entered. Following a complex and detailed investigation by the Investigation Division of the Southern Pines Police Department, Bryan Thomas Caddell and Thomas William Ovbey were identified as the perpetrators. Both suspects were taken into custody on November 13, 2014 and some property taken from this Breaking and Entering incident has been recovered.
Bryan Thomas Caddell appeared before a Moore County Magistrate and was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond pending a court appearance in Moore County District Court on November 25, 2014.
Thomas William Ovbey appeared before a Moore County Magistrate and was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond pending a court appearance in Moore County District Court on November 25, 2014.
