Indiana State Police Advisory
All Abandoned Vehicles from the Two Mile Marker South on Interstate 65 will be Towed
Sellersburg District-Effective November 18, 2014 at 12:00 am., (midnight), all abandoned vehicles located on Interstate #65 from the Two Mile Marker south, (both north and south bound lanes), will be towed. This is in Clark County and only effects the above mentioned locations.
Because of the lane reductions and restrictions in this area, also known as the area of the “Big Squeeze”, abandoned vehicles cause major traffic safety problems. For this reason, the commander of the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg, Lt. David Travis, has issued an order that troopers from the Indiana State Police Department will tow all abandoned vehicles in this area.
The current 24 hour abandoned vehicle rule will be suspended in the above mentioned area of Interstate #65 at midnight tonight. This no abandoned vehicle policy will be enforced until further notice.
If anyone experiences vehicle troubles in this area they are to have their vehicle removed immediately.
