FYI- Rte 400 closed, driving ban in Aurora, Tn. of Aurora still in effect. Aurora Town Court cancelled for tonight. Rte. 400 still closed. Note that the snow pack on Village sidewalks makes it nearly impossible at this time for the DPW to clear the walks. Priority clearing is roads, lots and sidewalks. Pedestrians, use extreme caution walking on roads. They are slippery and motorists may at times experience snow blindness due to the sun and not see you. Residents clearing driveways; please do not deposit your snow on the road. It is illegal and could damage cars going over it in addition to causing a motorist to lose control over his/her vehicle. For those with fire hydrants in front of there residences, please consider clearing them if you are able.
