PRESS RELEASE: MBPD Identified Subject Responsible For Social Media Post 
On November 19, 2014, Investigators with the Manhattan Beach Police Department identified a female juvenile who is responsible for at least one of the postings on an anonymous messaging app, Yik Yak. The female juvenile, who is currently not in custody, was contacted and interviewed by Investigators. The juvenile is not a student in the Manhattan Beach Unified School District and the investigation continues to determine if others were involved.
