The Livermore Police Department responded to two window smash auto burglaries in a parking lot on the south side of town yesterday. Between 6pm and 730 pm unknown suspect(s) smashed the driver’s side window of a Honda CRV and a Nissan Versa. The suspect took laptop computers from each vehicle, as well as a purse,a cell phone, and an I-pad. No suspect info is available.

Everyone can help us prevent auto burglaries by not leaving valuables in their vehicles. If you must leave something of value in your car, be sure it is hidden from view and not visible through the windows. It only takes a couple of seconds to smash a window and grab property left sitting on a seat or in a center console.
