Winter Storm Warning in effect for all NH except Coos County for Wednesday. Forecast updated 11/25/12 at 10:30 am.

Good Morning,

NWS Gray and Taunton have provided the following forecast update:
·         Snow will move into the region around midday. It may begin as a period of rain over southern and coastal areas.
·         Heaviest snow will be mid to late afternoon through the evening, especially around evening commute times. Snowfall rates of 1-2” an hour are possible.
·         Roads will become snow covered and slippery.
·         Winds near the coast, southeast NH, and higher terrains will gust to around 35 mph tonight, which combined with heavy wet snow may lead to scattered power outages.
·         Sleet should mix in across northern CT, central MA, and south central NH, limiting accumulations somewhat.

Forecasted Snow Totals:
·         Central/Southwest NH -  10-12”
·         Northern Coos – 6-8”
·         Seacoast – 5-6”

A weather watch indicates the potential for severe or damaging weather conditions.

REMINDER- effective November 1st parking on town roads and municipal parking lots is banned. Please make sure the roads are clear for the DPW crews to do the fine service they provide us.
