The Cannelton Police Department advises you that traffic on State Road 66 and Washington Street to be affected due to the Christmas Parade. Some roads will be closed.
Participants of the Cannelton Christmas Parade will began lining up at Old State Road 237 and State Road 66 around 4:00-4:30 this afternoon. Official line-up starts at 5:00. There will be significant congestion in the area during this time. The parade will start at 6:00. Once the parade has started State Road 66 and Washington Street will be closed to traffic. The parade will be travelling State Road 66 to Washington Street and then Washington Street to the floodwall.
The roadways will opened to normal traffic as soon as the parade has cleared the area.
Use (New) State Road 237 to avoid the area if possible.
