A minor vehicle accident has affected traffic in the area of Kemp and Maplewood. Currently, Maplewood is completely shut down between Kemp and Buchanan and the intersection of Kemp/Maplewood is being controlled by temporary stop signs until power to the traffic lights is restored. Officials estimate that this repair could take up to 5 hours. Police are asking citizens to avoid the area until the issue is resolved.
