A Winter Weather Advisory for snow, sleet & freezing rain remains in effect from 9 pm tonight until 2 pm Saturday, this storm may bring snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches along with around a tenth of an inch of ice.

Precipitation will begin as snow late tonight and transition to sleet then freezing rain by Saturday morning. Temperatures are expected to rise above freezing Saturday afternoon with precipitation changing to rain.

Freezing rain will cause ice to form on exposed surfaces including roads. Cold temperatures in advance of the precipitation will make ice accretion on roadways more efficient. Driving conditions will be very slick Saturday morning and ice accumulation on trees will cause limbs to sag and may lead to scattered power outages.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
