The Southern Pines Police Department once again would like to take this opportunity to thank our NIXLE and Social Media Community for providing information related to the larceny which occurred at the Kangaroo Express at 10805 US 15-501 Hwy on November 25, 2014 at approximately 1:00 AM. The Southern Pines Police Department has obtained an arrest warrant in this incident for Dorian Eduardo Carter, 43 years of age with a last known address of S. Gaines Street in Southern Pines, NC.
The Southern Pines Police Department is requesting the assistance of the community in locating Dorian Eduardo Carter. On November 25, 2014, at approximately 1:00 AM, a larceny occurred at the Kangaroo Express at 10805 US 15-501 Hwy. It has been reported to the Southern Pines Police Department that the male depicted in the attached photographs entered the store while the clerk was in the storage room. The suspect went behind the front counter and removed approximately two cartons of Newport cigarettes. The suspect fled on foot once confronted by the store clerk. The suspect in that attached photographs was described to be a black male, 5’ 06”, late 30’s to early 40’s.
The Southern Pines Police Department is requesting the assistance of the community identifying the person of interest depicted in the attached photographs. Anyone with information about the identity of the male in these surveillance photographs is asked to contact the Southern Pines Police Department at 910-692-7031 or the Southern Pines Police Department’s Crime Tip line at 910-693-4110.
