Be on the lookout for a silver Dodge Charger with gunshot damage. Fled from Fairburn PD after burglary.
Shortly after 9 AM today Fairburn officers were dispatched to a residential alarm on Woodland Hills Drive in Fairburn. The first arriving officer interrupted a burglary in progress. Three suspects, described a black males, early to mid 20’s in age, got into a silver Dodge Charger. The suspects then drove off the driveway, through the grass towards the officer, who was on foot giving orders for the suspects to stop. The officer fired several shots at the vehicle as he ran to get out of the way. It is unknown if any of the suspects were struck by gunfire.
Anyone who spots a silver Dodge Charger with gunshot damage is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately. The Charger will be missing at least one side mirror. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Fairburn Police Department at 770-964-1441.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been notified and will be investigating the incident.
