MSU Reopened After Morning Bomb Threat
Midwestern State University is now reopen following an early-morning bomb threat. Here is the official announcement from MSU:
"Dear MSU Students, Faculty, and Staff,
Emergency services personnel have successfully cleared the Midwestern State University main campus after a significant safety threat was received this morning, which resulted in the campus wide evacuation. As such, the campus will resume regular operations effective 12:15 p.m. Please note the following important information concerning final examinations:
*The scheduled 1 p.m. final examination today will occur as planned.
*The 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. final examination canceled due to the campus evacuation has been rescheduled for 8-10 p.m. Thursday, December 11.
*Students should consult their individual professor if any examinations during the 8-10 a.m. period this morning were unfinished at the time the evacuation was announced.
The Mesquite Dining Hall will have multiple to-go options for any meal plan holders or other students desiring a quick grab-and-go option. The Dining Hall is also open for continual service through 7 p.m. this evening.
Additional information pertinent to this morning's evacuation will be posted to MSU's homepage at http://mwsu.edu as it becomes available."
