THE LAKE LURE POLICE DEPARTMENT IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE FOLLOWING:

Corporal Andrew Greenway has been promoted to the position of Sergeant – Sergeant Greenway has worked with the department in various capacities over the last 4-5 years and has proven himself a team leader. His experience in investigations led him to work for the department in the past as their lead investigator when he served in the position of Lieutenant. Sergeant Greenway took a position with Polk County Sheriff’s Department, while remaining a Reserve Officer at Lake Lure. In May of 2013 Sergeant Greenway returned full-time to the Lake Lure Police Department and has continued to work to the position of Sergeant.

Officer Aaron Collins has been promoted to the position of Corporal – Corporal Collins came to Lake Lure Police Department after serving over 10 years with the Spindale Police Department. He came to Lake Lure as a Reserve Officer in late Spring of 2014 and was moved to full-time status in the Summer of the same year. Corporal Collins continues to demonstrate a drive and dedication as a new officer to our department.
