The department is experiencing a significant number of speed violations when motorists are entering Clarinda. Please make sure to reduce speeds when approaching Clarinda in the following problems areas: 1. Highway 71 approaching Clarinda from the south, East Washington and Highway 71 when approaching Clarinda from the east, W. State Street when approaching Clarinda from the west and North 12th Street when approaching Clarinda from the north. Speed is often enforced by radar in these locations.
