Road Closure: Sanderson Avenue, between Cottonwood Avenue and Ramona Expressway in San Jacinto 
On Friday, December 12, 2014, at 10:55 AM, officers from the San Jacinto Police Department responded to a single-vehicle traffic collision on Sanderson Avenue, between Cottonwood Avenue and Ramona Expressway in San Jacinto. The initial investigation indicated the vehicle was traveling southbound on Sanderson Avenue in rainy weather. The vehicle hydroplaned off the roadway and collided with a utility pole. The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The utility pole was severed and only supported by power lines. Edison crews are currently working on repairing the damaged utility pole.
Sanderson Avenue is closed in both directions, between Cottonwood Avenue and Ramona Expressway, while Edison conducts repairs. The San Jacinto Police Department would like drivers to avoid the area until the roads can be reopened.
