Shortly after midnight last night Officers responded to 2000 block of Taft for report of a check welfare. Upon arrival Officers made contact with the victim, Larreion Charlston, 24 year old black male. Charlston reported that 2-3 unknown black males forced entry into the residence and demanded money. Sometime during the robbery Charlston was shot one time. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury. Detectives arrived on scene and are investigating the incident.
