Full Notification

An unknown subject is calling various people in the area posing as a Lieutenant with the Wichita County Sheriff's Office. The subject is advising people that they have an active warrant for their arrest for not appearing for jury duty. The subject will then ask for personal information. A legitimate member of the court system or Law Enforcement will not contact you by phone and ask for personal information such as Social Security numbers. This appears to be an attempt at identity theft. Please remember, never give out any personal information, Social Security number, credit card or bank numbers, to anyone that contacts you by phone.
