Expect traffic backups leaving the island. Water main break under overpass on Huron Ave 
We are currently experiencing periodic major traffic delays leaving Brigantine. There is a water main break as you approach Huron Avenue under the overpass. Traffic is being diverted to the traffic light at Huron and Brigantine Blvd. Atlantic City and the State have been notified of our situation and we are awaiting traffic assistance. Please plan accordingly if you must leave the island. Provisions have been made to get our EMS units to the hospital in the event of an emergency. Please do not call Brigantine Dispatch unless you are reporting an emergency.
