Criminal Activity Alert
Several surrounding towns have reported criminal events (Vehicle thefts, Home Burglaries, Commercial Burglaries, and Parcel Package Thefts) in the past few days. While this is a busy time of year for everyone, take a few steps to help reduce your chance of being victimized. Remove ALL KEYS and KEY FOB’s from any unoccupied vehicles. Lock your vehicles when they are unattended. If you have an alarm system use it regularly, not just for vacations.

The following tips may also help reduce your chances of becoming a victim;
 Leave interior and exterior lights on to make your home appear occupied.
 Leave a television or radio on inside your home.
 Please remove jewelry and valuables from the bedrooms.
 Remove safes from the master bedroom and their closets.
 Lock all doors and windows. We find many unlocked doors.
 Remove mail and newspapers from your driveway the day they are delivered.
 Secure any ladders on your property.
