Package theives arrested 
At 1000 am on Christmas Eve, LPD dispatch started receiving calls of two subjects stealing packages from porches in the Lexington/Trinity Hills area. Officers responded to the area and were unable to locate the suspects
Later in the day, a citizen called regarding two subjects hiding in the bushes on Marina Road. Officers responded to the area and located a male and female. Officers recognized one of the subjects from video surveillance of one of the package thefts.
The male and female were arrested for prowling. Officers then located the suspect's vehicle parked nearby. The vehicle was full of stolen mail and packages from Orinda, Lafayette, Brentwood, Pleasanton, and Livermore.
Both subjects were booked at Santa Rita Jail on a variety of charges. Both claimed to be transient from San Francisco.
