Earlier Shooting Determined to be Self-Inflicted 
Detectives with the Wichita Falls Police Department have determined that an earlier report on Dec 21st involving the shooting of Wichita Falls resident Marcos Javier Garza was, in fact, self-inflicted.
On Dec 21st at approximately 10:30 PM Officers with the WFPD were dispatched to 1600 11th St to United Regional Health Care in reference to a subject that had been shot. Upon arrival they located Garza being treated for his injuries. Detectives along with the Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene and began their investigation.
There are no charges being filed at this time.
