Weather Advisory
According to the National Weather Services:
.WINTER WEATHER...
LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW BANDS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE THROUGH
CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON AND
EARLY EVENING HOURS. SNOWFALL RATES HAVE DECREASED SOMEWHAT...
BUT LOCALIZED AREAS OF SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL OKLAHOMA MAY
PICK UP ANOTHER INCH OR TWO OF SNOW BEFORE IT ENDS LATER
THIS EVENING. SNOW MEASUREMENTS HAVE RANGED FROM AROUND
AN INCH TO UP TO 6 INCHES IN LOCALIZED AREAS. AS TEMPERATURES
WILL REMAIN NEAR FREEZING MUCH OF TODAY...MELTING WILL BE SLOW
TO OCCUR...AND AREA ROADS WILL REMAIN SLICK AND HAZARDOUS IN
PLACES...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES. BE VERY CAREFUL
IF YOU ARE OUT TRAVELING THIS AFTERNOON OR TONIGHT. REFREEZING
IS LIKELY TO OCCUR LATE TONIGHT AS TEMPERATURES DIP INTO THE
LOW TO MID 20S. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS
OVERNIGHT AS ROADS BECOME ICY.
