Marshall County – The Indiana State Police are continuing their investigation into the shooting Monday evening in Plymouth in which Lane G. Dodson, 33, was shot in the K-Mart parking lot by police.
Investigators from the Bremen Post are continuing to conduct interviews and process evidence that was collected at the scene. State police detectives are working closely with the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office. A determination has been made that no other information related to the facts surrounding the shooting will be discussed or released at this time.
Updates on the condition of Lane G. Dodson should be obtained from Memorial Hospital in South Bend. The state police will not be providing any medical information on Dodson.
Plymouth City Police Department will release the name of their officer involved in the shooting.
*All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
