Giles County Sheriff's Deputes and Narcotics investigators along with Giles County Office of Emergency Management were busy during the holidays cleaning up methamphetamine dump sites in three places. They are Rose Hill Road, Alf Harris Rd. and Egin Cemetery Road. Investigators recovered and properly disposed of several hazardous items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. They also found some finished methamphetamine and the products used to make more along with the used containers from previous cooks. Charges are forthcoming and investigators are continuing to look into the cases. The Sheriff's Office would like to remind anyone who may find suspicious containers on their property to not touch or open the items and call 911 and let a properly trained officer investigate.
