At approx. 10:45 hrs Officers responded to the 1500 block of Britian for report of a Home Invasion. Victim reported that he was at his residence when he heard a knock at the door. When he answered the door two unknown Hispanic males forced their way into the residence. Both suspects had large knives. One suspect held the victim at knife point while the other rummaged through the house. A family member arrived at the house and they began to fight back against the suspects. Victim held down one suspect until Police arrived. The other suspect fled the scene with stolen drugs and money. During the struggle the victim received a cut to his face and the suspect received minor injuries. The victim was taken to United Regional by private vehicle. The suspect who is a 16 year old juvenile was arrested for Burglary and was taken to United Regional by Police to receive medical clearance before being transported to Juvenile Detention. WFPD would like the public to know that this is an isolated incident and it appears the victim was specifically targeted.
