12/24/14 WTPD arrested Robin Griffin, age 57, of Falls Pa., for aggravated assault on police officers, resisting arrest, obstruction of the administration of justice, disorderly conduct and an outstanding $140.50 warrant out of Washington Borough NJ. On 12/24/14 at approximately 9:18 PM officers were dispatched to the area of Rte. 57 W. and Little Philadelphia Rd. in Washington Township for a reported car deer motor vehicle accident. Upon the officer’s arrival, Ms. Griffin attempted to leave the scene and failed to comply with the officers directions. The officer’s investigation revealed Ms. Griffin and an outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. They also discovered her vehicle was unregistered, her driver’s license was expired and that she did not have automobile insurance. When officers attempted to take Ms. Griffin into custody she spit and kicked the officers. Ms. Griffin was processed and lodged n the WC Jail in lieu of $7500.00 bail.

12/24/14 WTPD arrested Mory Traore, age 43, of New York NY, for an outstanding $1217.00 warrant out of Ridgefield Borough NJ. On 12/24/14 at approximately 2:04 PM, patrol was dispatched to the area of the 400 block of Rte. 31 S. in Washington Township for the report of a minor motor vehicle accident. The officer’s investigation revealed that Mr. Traore had an outstanding warrant. Mr. Traore was processed and released with a new court date.

12/25/14 WTPD arrested Allison McEvoy, age 25, of Washington NJ, for simple assault and outstanding warrants totaling $1313.00 out of Washington and Oxford Townships. Ms. McEvoy was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.

12/25/14 WTPD arrested Trent Barany, age 24, of Washington NJ, for the obstruction of the administration of justice and for an outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough NJ. On 12/25/14 at approximately 11:27 PM patrol was dispatched to the 10 block of Flower Ave in Washington Borough for a dispute. The officer’s investigation resulted in Mr. Barany’s arrest. He was processed and released with a new court date.

12/26/14 WTPD arrested Jeffrey Donohue, age 35, of Washington NJ, for a $1000.00 warrant out of Bridgewater Township NJ. Mr. Donohue was processed and released with a new court date.

12/27/14 WTPD arrested Heather Sherman, age 21, of Washington NJ, for outstanding warrants totaling $1250.00 out of Clinton Township NJ. On 12/27/14 at approximately 12:03 PM officers were dispatched to New Bold Ct. in Washington Township for a female that had warrants. Upon patrols arrival, Ms. Sherman was located and found to have outstanding warrants. Ms. Sherman was processed and released to Clinton Township PD.

12/27/14 WTPD arrested Donald Teeter, age 68, of Washington NJ, for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 12/27/14 at approximately 3:00 PM patrol was dispatched to Washington Garden Apts. in Washington Borough for a man on his balcony listening to loud music and screaming. Upon the officers arrival, contact was made with Mr. Teeter, who was creating the disturbance. Mr. Teeter was issued a local ordinance summons for maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and released with a new court date.

12/28/14 WTPD arrested Joseph Finn, age 43, of Pen Argyl Pa., for a $520.00 warrant out of Washington Township NJ. Mr. Finn was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.

12/29/14 WTPD arrested Zachary Anderson, age 24, of Clinton NJ, for a $1770.00 warrant out of Washington Township and a $203.00 warrant out of Mansfield Township NJ. Mr. Anderson was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.

12/30/14 WTPD arrested David Best, age 56, of Washington NJ, for a $500.00 warrant out of Washington Borough NJ. Mr. Best was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.

12/30/14 WTPD arrested Anthony Murphy, age 32, of Washington NJ, for warrants totaling $2100.00 out of Trenton NJ. On 12/30/14 at approximately 4:10 PM, patrol stopped a motor vehicle on Rte. 31 S. in Washington Township for an equipment violation. Mr. Murphy, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was found to have outstanding warrants. Mr. Murphy was processed and released after posting bail.

12/30/14 WTPD arrested Justin Waller, age 35, of Washington NJ, for a $200.00 warrant out of Washington Township NJ. Mr. Waller was processed and released after posting bail.

12/30/14 WTPD arrested John Hockenbury, age 50, of Washington NJ, for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 12/30/14 at approximately 9:36 PM, patrol observed Mr. Hockenbury in the 30 block of Belvidere Ave in Washington Borough causing a disturbance. Mr. Hockenbury was issued a local ordinance summons for maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and released with a new court date.

12/30/14 WTPD arrested Alex Helbing, age 30, of Easton Pa., for an outstanding $195.00 warrant out of the Pohatcong Township NJ. On 12/30/14 at approximately 9:12 PM, officers were dispatched to the 60 block of Broad St. in Washington Borough for a suspicious vehicle. The officer’s investigation resulted in Mr. Helbing’s arrest for the warrant. Mr. Helbing was processed and released with a new court date.

12/31/14 WTPD arrested John Woodring, age 24, of Phillipsburg NJ, for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 12/31/14 at approximately 2:54AM, patrol checked a suspicious vehicle in the ball field parking lot on Lambert St. in Washington Borough. The officer’s investigation resulted in Mr. Woodring being issued a motor vehicle summons for having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and a local ordinance violation for maintaining a nuisance. Mr. Woodring was processed and released with a court date.

12/31/14 WTPD arrested Beth Joyce, age 54, of Washington NJ, for disorderly conduct and a local ordinance for maintaining a nuisance. On 12/31/14 at approximately 7:24 PM, officers were dispatched to the Mediterranean Bistro in the 300 block of W. Washington Ave in Washington Borough for an intoxicated female that was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave. Upon the officer’s arrival, contact was made with Ms. Joyce, who appeared to be intoxicated. Her belligerent behavior continued and she acted disorderly inside and outside of the restaurant. Ms. Joyce was processed and released with a court date.

12/31/14 WTPD arrested Nathanial Scott, age 23, of Oxford NJ, for an $1100.00 outstanding warrant out of Oxford Township NJ. On 12/31/14 at approximately 11:40 PM, patrol was dispatched to the Draught House in the 200 block of Rte. 31 N. in Washington Township for a wanted person. Upon the officer’s arrival, contact was made with Mr. Scott, who had an outstanding warrant. He was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.
