3 Residential Burglary Suspects Arrested. Property Recovered. PHOTOS
On 1-7-15, at about 2:20 PM, Suspect #1 Romeo Wade and Suspect #2 Majae Corswell (18 year old and 19 year old residents of Los Angeles respectively) knocked on the front door of a residence in the 1900 block of Alpha Avenue, South Pasadena, CA. When the witness did not answer, Wade and Corswell walked to the rear of the residence. Both immediately left when they noticed the witness was home and ran to an awaiting vehicle. The witness called police and officers located the suspect vehicle, a 2004 White Pontiac Gran Am, driving a few blocks away. Suspect #3 Kenneth Green (an 18 year old resident of Los Angeles) was the driver of the vehicle and a computer check revealed Wade on probation for robbery and Corswell having an outstanding warrant for residential burglary from Monterey Park. It appears that all three have gang affiliations.
A search of the vehicle revealed numerous pieces of jewelry, cash, gloves, and a pillow case containing additional jewelry and coins.
While officers were contacting the suspects, SPPD dispatch received two additional calls of residential burglaries that occurred in the 800 block of Valley View and the 1900 block of Alpha Av. The property found in the vehicle was discovered to be stolen from both residences.
All three suspects are scheduled to be arraigned in Alhambra Superior Court on 1-9-15.
