On January 9, 2015 deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station received the report of a missing adult. The missing adult was identified as Omar Arce Meza, 33 years old, from Los Angeles.
Deputies learned Meza arrived in Palm Desert on January 8, 2015 for business and failed to show up for scheduled meetings on January 9, 2015. Meza was last seen at the Desert Springs Marriott at around 11:00 P.M. on January 8, 2015.
On January 10, 2015 investigators from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station assumed the investigation. At this time all available Sheriff’s Department resources are being utilized to locate Meza including but not limited to bloodhounds and Desert Search and Rescue. The investigation is ongoing.
