"Advisory" Level Travel Advisory Put in Place.
Due to snow we received overnight, roads remain snow covered and slick. Additionally, we are beginning to see some drifting issues on East/West roads in the county. With temperatures and wind chills expected to be below zero later tonight and into tomorrow, the slush on the roads will freeze leading to hazardous road conditions. A decision was made to implement an "Advisory" Level travel advisory for the county.
An ”Advisory” – is the lowest level of travel restriction used in the Marshall County travel advisory system. An “Advisory” means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
