Brooklyn – (Morgan County) Just after midnight yesterday morning, Indiana State Troopers Chris Griggs and K9 Trooper Allen Deel were patrolling in the Brooklyn area when they observed a vehicle operating with a defective headlight. A passenger in the vehicle indicated he did not have any identification with him, then verbally gave Troopers a false name and date of birth.
Further investigation revealed the passenger was Dillard Johnson, 39 of Indianapolis. Johnson was found to be Wanted on Warrant for Escape from the Indiana Department of Corrections. Johnson was remanded to the Morgan County Jail without incident.
All Suspects Are Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty in a Court of Law
