The Bluffton Police Department is investigating a missing three year old child. At 12:30 p.m. officers went to a residence in the 500 block of Normandy Drive to do a welfare check on the occupants. Three year old Owen Collins could not be found inside the residence. He was not found during a search of the area by emergency responders and citizens. Investigators are interviewing persons that were inside the residence. The child is 3 feet 1 inches tall, blonde hair, blue eyes and has a one inch scar under his left eye. He was last seen wearing dark pants. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Owen Collins, they are asked to call the Bluffton Police Department at 260-824-3320.
Assisting at the scene were members of the Wells County Sheriffs Office, Ossian Police Department, Indiana State Police, Indiana Excise Police, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Bluffton Fire Department, Wells County EMS and K9 units from the Indiana Search & Response/Indiana DHS District 3 Search & Rescue Task Force.
