It has been several days since our last update. We want to thank the public and the media for your patience as extensive work continues to be done. Investigators continue to work every day with this case as our primary focus.
Dozens of people have been interviewed and a variety of relevant evidence has been uncovered.
Leads and information generated as a result of the public tips and Kevin DeOliviera’s friends and contacts have been helpful in narrowing our investigative focus to a single avenue at this stage.
The investigation has revealed that there is a high likelihood that Kevin’s murder has a nexus to drugs and drug distribution.
At this time further detailed characterizations of the circumstances or discussion of additional case details could compromise the integrity of the investigation. More details will be released as soon as practical.
