As you all know there is a snow storm heading our way. We would like to take this time to go over a couple of things. Please adhere to the parking regulations, especially the snow covered street ordinance posted below. We want emergency vehicles to get to their calls safely and without incident. Secondly, please try to refrain from throwing snow onto the streets, as this creates traffic hazards. Lastly if you do need to travel, please clear your vehicle of snow beforehand. 10-2.3 Parking during snow emergencies.
a. Not withstanding the provisions of Subsections 10-2.1 and
10-2.2. whenever snow has fallen ard the accumulation is such that it covers the street or highway, an emergency shall exist and no vehicle shall be parked upon the following streets or highways or portions thereof as follows:
1. Jefferson Street on the east side in its entirety.
2. Division Avenue on the north side in its entirety.
3. Summit Avenue on the north side in its entirety.
4. Seventh Street on the east side in its entirety.
5. Garden Street on the east side in its entirety.
