A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from Mon evening through late Tues night for heavy snow up to 10 to 14 inches.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch from Monday evening through late Tuesday night for heavy snow with accumulation of 10 to 14 inches. Winds will be from the north at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph and temperatures from 1 below to 17 above zero.
Snow will begin late Monday and may be heavy at times during the day Tuesday. Snow will wind down late Tuesday but linger into Wednesday.
Snow covered roads and low visibilities will lead to dangerous travel conditions.
Instructions:
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow accumulations that may impact travel and could cause power outages. Do not travel unless it is important and if you need to travel, give yourselves plenty of time and increase driving distances between other vehicles on the road. If you come across downed lines, do not come in contact with them. Contact your local fire department or public utility company. If you use a generator, please make sure that it is properly installed and properly ventilated, do not run them from inside or near the house as carbon monoxide vapors can cause sickness or death.
