A TRAVEL ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR DELAWARE COUNTY ROADWAYS DUE TO EXPECTED SNOW ACCUMULATION AND REDUCED VISIBILITY MAKING TRAVEL HAZARDOUS.
This TRAVEL ADVISORY takes effect at 18:30 PM on Sunday, January 25, 2015. This Advisory will remain in effect until weather and road conditions improve.
This TRAVEL ADVISORY has been issued to warn those who must travel on Delaware County roadways to use extreme caution due to snow accumulation on roadways and reduced visibility. Roads will become snow covered, slick and hazardous.
If you must drive during this advisory, remain alert and use extra caution as roads will rapidly become slick and hazardous. Expect rapidly changing road conditions. Allow extra time to get to your destination, reduce your speed and increase the following distance from the vehicle ahead. Avoid sudden changes in speed and apply brakes and accelerator slowly and gently.
A TRAVEL ADVISORY DOES NOT IMPOSE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON TRAVEL ON COUNTY ROADWAYS. MOTORISTS MAY TRAVEL AT THEIR OWN RISK.
