CODE RED ALERT for Richardsville, Virginia 
***CODE RED ALERT*** Richardsville Area
The Culpeper Sheriff's Office and Culpeper Animal Control are currently searching for a pit bull at large in the Richardsville area. At approximately 4:00pm This evening the dog attacked its owners in the 22000 Block of Halls Rd and injured a child and her grandmother. A short time later the dog attacked another child in the 22000 Block of Halls Road.
Officers continue to search for the dog at this time. Residents in the area are asked to Please use caution outdoors and contact the 911 center if the animal is seen.
The dog is described as solid colored brownish red pit bull unknown collar. The dog
may be injured.
If the dog is captured prior to 9:00 pm this evening we will send another message through Code Red system. After that time you may check the Culpeper Sheriff's Office Facebook or call the dispatch center non- emergency line for information at 727-7900.
