.LOW PRESSURE WILL TRACK FROM THE OHIO VALLEY TO THE MID ATLANTIC
TONIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING BRINGING MAINLY SOME LIGHT SNOW TO MUCH
OF THE REGION. THIS STORM WILL THEN RAPIDLY INTENSIFY INTO A
NOR`EASTER LATE MONDAY. THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY WITH THE
DETAILS, MAINLY FOR THE WESTERN AND SOUTHWESTERN AREAS OF OUR
REGION. THIS STORM IS EXPECTED TO RESULT IN DETERIORATING
CONDITIONS AS WE GO THROUGH MONDAY INTO TUESDAY, WITH WIDESPREAD

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON MONDAY
TO 6 PM EST TUESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN
EFFECT.
* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW WITH BLOWING AND DRIFTING.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...14 TO 24 INCHES.
* TIMING...SNOW DEVELOPS BETWEEN MIDNIGHT TONIGHT AND 5 AM MONDAY,
THEN IT CONTINUES THROUGH THE DAY. THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BECOME
HEAVY AT TIMES LATE MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING
WHEN SNOWFALL RATES OF A COUPLE OF INCHES PER HOUR CAN OCCUR AT
TIMES, THEN TAPER OFF DURING TUESDAY AFTERNOON.
* IMPACTS...SOME IMPACT ON THE MONDAY MORNING COMMUTE, THEN
SIGNIFICANT AND WIDESPREAD IMPACTS THEREAFTER. AREAS OF BLOWING
AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL ADD TO THE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS.
* WINDS...NORTHEAST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 20 MPH MONDAY, THEN
BECOMING NORTH 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH MONDAY NIGHT
INTO TUESDAY.
* TEMPERATURES...RANGING FROM THE MID 20S TO LOWER 30S MONDAY,
THEN DROPPING INTO THE LOWER TO MID 20S MONDAY NIGHT INTO
TUESDAY.
* VISIBILITIES...AS LOW AS ONE QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.
