The Township has declared a SNOW EMERGENCY effective Mon., 1/26, at 12PM.

If you reside on a signed “Snow Emergency Route” (visit www.muhlenbergtwp.com) you must remove your vehicle from the side of the street that is posted. If your vehicle remains on a posted street the Police Department will issue a traffic citation and have the vehicle towed at your expense.

As a courtesy Wal-Mart will allow parking on their lot closest to 5th St. Highway and KMart will allow parking in their lower lot.

The Township takes these situations seriously in order to ensure the safety of our residents.
