NWS: WINTER STORM WARNING THROUGH TUESDAY. POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS NOR'EASTER
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR MERCER COUNTY.
THIS STORM IS RAPIDLY INTENSIFYING INTO A NOR`EASTER JUST OFF THE OUTER BANKS OF NORTH CAROLINA AND DETERIORATING CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING. WIDESPREAD TRAVEL IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS RANGING ANYWHERE FROM 8 TO 28 INCHES THROUGHOUT NEW JERSEY WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS.
* EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TRAVEL DUE TO HEAVY SNOWFALL AND STRONG WINDS, RESULTING IN WHITEOUT CONDITIONS. SECONDARY AND TERTIARY ROADS MAY BECOME IMPASSABLE. STRONG WINDS MAY DOWN POWER LINES AND TREE LIMBS. VISIBILITIES COULD BE ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.
