The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is under a winter snow storm blizzard that will extend into the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Governor Baker issued a State of Emergency for the entire Commonwealth that began this morning at 11:30 am. This declaration is in effect until further notice. Those of you enrolled with Nixle alert will be advised when the emergency is rescinded.
There is also a statewide no-travel ban beginning at midnight Monday (1/26) until further notice. Only Emergency vehicles and personnel are allowed to travel.
The following Yarmouth town offices and services will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 26, 2015. Town Hall, Town Disposal, WY and SY Library, Senior Center, Admin offices to Parks/Recreation, Natural Resources, and Golf Division.
Regional Shelters will open today Monday (1/25) starting at 6:30 pm.
