Be advised the Village of Malverne has declared a State of Emergency due to the current snow emergency. All overnight parking permits are suspended until further notice. Residents with overnight parking permits may use any of the municipal lots free of charge during this snow event. All other vehicles must be removed from Village roadways by 9:00 P.M. Monday January 26 to assist with the clearing of the Village roadways. Please allow our Public Works Department to do their jobs safely and efficiently and do not shovel or blow snow into the street.
Please assist the Malverne Volunteer Fire Department and your neighbors by clearing out any fire hydrants on your block of snow. Finding and clearing of a hydrant by the Fire Department costs precious minutes in an emergency.
Please assist all Malverne Emergency Services by making sure your home address is clear and visible.
