Attempted home invasion investigation.

The Columbia Township Police Department is currently investigating an attempted home invasion on Bellflower Drive, in Columbia Township. The incident was reported at approximately 11:55 A.M. on Monday, January 19, 2015.

The complainant in this incident was a 17 year-old (living at the residence) that was home alone at the time of the incident. She advised the house locked up, when two subjects approached the residence, and one suspect went to the rear of the residence while the second subject waited by the vehicle. The suspect that went to the rear of the residence attempted to force a door open entering into a garage.

The two suspects fled the scene in their vehicle after making the attempted entry on the rear door. One suspect is described as a heavy-set white male, balding, approximately 5’ 10” tall, approximately 30 years of age. The second suspect is a black male, thin build, with beard and mustache.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a late model dark blue Ford F-150 4 door pickup truck with tinted windows.

As entry to the residence was not gained, no property was stolen from the residence.
