Narrative:

Since December 2014, there have been several incidents where women have been victimized by two suspects who have been stealing wallets from purses. The two suspects work as a team to distract the victims who are shopping inside stores. The suspects have been able to remove the victims’ wallets from their purses without being seen by the victims. Typically, the victims’ purses had been placed in the shopping cart, providing the suspects easier access.

The suspects are have then used the victim’s credit cards to make various purchases, which have totaled over $10,000. The thefts and charges occurred in various cities throughout Ventura and Northern Los Angeles Counties. It is believed the same suspects are responsible for the crimes.

We are asking for the public’s help in identifying one of the suspects seen in the attached photo and surveillance video, which were taken from one of the recent crimes.
