Davis Police Arrest Driver in Felony Hit & Run 
On 1/29/2015 at approximately 10:00 am, Davis Police arrested Brian Douglas Cassidy at his home in Davis. Cassidy is suspected of being the driver in a December hit & run in which he left the scene after a collision with a motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle was left at the scene with major injuries.
As a result of the investigation, Davis Police obtained a warrant for his arrest. Thanks to a tip from the public that Cassidy had arrived at his residence, Davis Police responded and arrested him at his front door.
Cassidy was lodged at Yolo County Jail.
